After 14 years in Feasterville, Snacks By The Pound, one of Bucks County’s premier candy and gift basket stores has relocated to the Whitehall Building at 127 S. State Street in Newtown.
In making the announcement, Tracey and Larry Laiken, of Lower Southampton, PA, co-owners of Snacks By The Pound, who have some 44 combined years in the candy and gift business, say that they relocated to the bustling State Street address in order to join with other great businesses and fantastic people who make up the borough of Newtown.
Renowned for its homemade fudge in a variety of flavors, the newly renovated 1,000 sq. ft. retail shop also offers a full line of sugarless candy, as well as a huge selection of candies, nuts, chocolates, gourmet pretzels plus old fashion novelty and nostalgic items.
In addition, Snacks By The Pound custom designs and assembles trays, pyramids and gift baskets on a daily basis.
“You can purchase one of our beautiful ready-made custom gift baskets or have us design something special to meet your fancy,” notes Larry Laiken.
"We are here to please.”
