Local Musicians to Raise Money for Hurricane Victims
Local musicians have joined together for a fundraising concert to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Yardley's own Run To Sandy and Used Karma will be performing a concert Dec. 1 at Makefield Highlands Golf Course, 1418 Woodside Rd., Yardley, from 7 to 11 p.m. All door proceeds will benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Tickets to the event will be available at the door. Prices are $20 for adults and $10 for chidlren under 21. Makefield Highlands will offer a cash bar and limited menu for the event.
Run to Sandy is an original power-pop, rock band hailing from Yardley, PA. Formed in 2005, the band has two releases, the "Run To Sandy" EP in 2006 and 2010's Full-Length, "Icebreaker." Run To Sandy has played venues all over the Philadelphia, Trenton, Bucks County and sourrounding areas. Band members are Jeff Sawyer, Jonathan Millen, Richie Lather and Dan Claro.
