You could say they’re an artistic couple.

Mike and Claudia Buszko of Newtown Township recently launched a new endeavor that utilizes their creativity to offer a range of artistic entertainment, like face painting and caricatures, for parties and events.

“We’re artistically all over the place,” Mike joked.

Up until just recently, before the Phillies were eliminated from the playoffs, you could find Mike working at Citizens Bank Park as a caricature artist.  He’s been a caricature artist for 15 years and says he loves it.

Claudia, who works with children as a day care provider, began face painting casually at work with the kids. When parents started hiring her for parties, she decided to partner up with her husband to utilize both of their talents.

Mike, an artist who works with a variety of mediums including watercolor and oil-based paints, is a graduate of the University of the Arts. “I do a little bit of everything – nature, florals,” he said. “I do abstracts as well.”
