Despite a wet start early Saturday morning, the weather cleared up and the annual Newtown Grant Garage Sale was a huge success, organizers said.
"I am hearing from many people that they sold about as much as last year when we had larger crowd and perfect weather," said organizer Brandon Wind said.

The township needs to do something about the people who park illegally on Eagle Rd. during the event. The road gets narrowed down to one lane due to the illegal parking, and it becomes a huge safety problem.
