Pick up your school lunch ingredients this Saturday at the Wrightstown Farmers' Market!

Harvest expectations for this week: Sweet and hot peppers, sweet corn, Honeycrisp apples, watermelon, cantaloupe, lots of tomatoes, green beans, okra, sunflowers and bouquets, potatoes, basil?, eggplant, broccoli, garlic, onions, scallions, cabbages, zucchini, summer and winter squash, beets, turnips, kohlrabi, lettuce, chard, brussel sprouts, collards, kale, assorted greens, radishes, parsley, cilantro and freshly pressed apple cider.

You can also find fresh chicken, eggs, goat cheeses, smoothies, yogurt, milk, pork and 100% grass-fed beef free of hormones and antibiotics.  Find prepared foods; pickles, sauces, fruit butters, apple juice, chutneys, marmalade and unique desserts; gluten free and vegan products; fair trade, organic, locally roasted coffee; nut butters; breads and baked goods; all natural dog food; Pennsylvania maple syrup; raw, local honey; handmade soaps, lotions and jewelry.

Darcy Fair will performing the Irish harp and telling children's stories.

Tickets for the Garden Benefit for the Foodshed Alliance will also be available at the market. The Garden Benefit will be held Sunday, September 30 at 4 p.m. at Hortulus Farm in Wrightstown. Enjoy the fruits of local wineries and farms during an evening’s stroll through the spectacular decorative and kitchen gardens while supporting the Foodshed Alliance's work to expand locally grown food.
