Gas Prices Jump 7.7 Cents Since Last Week

The national average price for a gallon of regular self serve gasoline has increased 50 of the last 56 days, and went up 42 cents from the summer low of $3.33 on July 2, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.
Some states – Hawaii, California, Washington, Oregon and Connecticut are paying more than $4 a gallon.
In the Bucks and Montgomery Counties, the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline is $3.803 per gallon, which is up 1.5 cents from a week ago, 16.9 cents higher than a month ago and 15.6 cents higher than a year ago.
AAA, however, predicts prices will start to decline again after Labor Day.
Locally, the cheapest price for regular is $3.90 at Ferino Bros. Service on Windy Bush Road.
