Hardware House Has New Owner
Newtown resident Bill Newell on Monday took the reigns at the beloved borough business.
The Newtown Hardware House has a new owner.
Last month, longtime owner Dave Callahan announced he was closing the businesses. However, a few days later, a "mystery buyer" stepped in to buy the business and keep it in operation.
That mystery buyer was later revealed as Newtown resident Bill Newell, who on Monday took the reigns at the beloved borough business.
