July 18: 'Rear Window,' Accident Advice and Manhunt

Essential information about the day ahead in Newtown.

 

1. Tonight at 8 p.m., Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window" will be screen at Linton Park as part of the borough's Movies in the Park series. Music before the film will be performed by Brianna Nelson and Katie Marshall. The trailer for the classic 1954 thriller can be screened in the media section to the right.

3. A high near 100 degrees can be expected today. As the day rolls on, a chance of thunderstorms should be anticipated through the evening, according to the National Weather Service.
