Newtown Borough’s annual Music In The Park event will be this Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. at Linton Memorial Park, which is located at Lincoln Avenue and Penn Street.

The event is an evening of free family fun and wil feature music from a variety of acts, explained Heather Lewis of the Borough’s Recreation Board, which is hosting the event.

"Bring your family, friends, and picnic blankets and enjoy a variety of music under the stars," Lewis said in an email.

Three acts will play approximately four hours of music.

There will be food available for purchase from Joey G’s. Alex’s Lemonade Stand will also be there.

Here is the event schedule:

6 to 7 p.m. - Dan Chamberlain & Peter Joseph (acoustic)

7 to 8 p.m. - Life As Monsters – (young rock/pop)

8 to 10 p.m. - Patrick & Sean Kelly (hits from yesterday and today)
