Newtown Artesian Water Co. Hearings are Wednesday
Members of the public are invited and welcome to attend and give their testimony.
The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) will have public input hearings Wednesday for a propopsed Newtown Artesian Water Company well placement and improvements.
The hearings will be held at 1 and 6:30 p.m. at the Newtown Township Administration Building.
The Newtown Artesian Water Company will be seeking a determination that the placement of a well, well house and associated improvements on a site in the township are reasonably necessary for the convenience or welfare of the public, according to a notice on the township website.
Members of the public are invited and welcome to attend and give their testimony.
To offer your comments to the Public Utility Commission, you will be required to sign in before the meeting begins.
Both hearings will be televised.
