Newtown Elementary PTA to Hold Fundraiser at Winery
Parents Knight Out will be held at Rose Bank Winery on Friday, April 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $45 and include unlimited food, wine, and beer from the new Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company.
The Newtown Elementary School PTA is organizing a “Parents Knight Out” to raise money for a new kindergarten playground.
The event, to take place Friday, April 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Rose Bank Winery, will feature food, wine, beer, and live music by Firecracker Betty.
Wine from Rose Bank will be served, as well as beer from the new Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, which just recently began distributing beer from its Croydon location.
Between 15 and 20 restaurants and caterers will be there to participate in the food tasting, said Kellyann Zuzulo, a PTA member who is helping to organize the event. The list includes Colonial Farms Catering, Cosi, Dragon of Newtown, Duck Sauce, Green Parrot, Joey G’s Gourmet Deli and Catering, Just Food, La Nuova Vita, Palate, Piccolo Trattoria, The Temperance House, and Vecchia Osteria.
There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle with a variety of prizes.
Zuzulo said the fundraiser will generate money to build a new kindergarten playground. The current playground is outdated and uninteresting to the children, she explained.
Tickets are $40 a person or $75 per couple and include unlimited food and beverages. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time via check made payable to NEPTA.

We're really excited to bring this event to the Rose Bank Winery and to showcase some of the area's best restaurants. It's a fun night for a good cause. Tickets are actually $40 each and $75 per couple. We're looking forward to seeing many Newtown friends and neighbors there!
