Where does a family go for dinner when Mom wants to eat healthy, one kid is a picky eater, the other is a vegetarian, and Dad wants a burger?  The answer is easy: the Newtown Farmers Market.

The Newtown Farmers Market has 16 food stands that sell a variety of homemade meals, ethnic foods, and gourmet treats.  Anchored by Zook's BBQ Barn and Smuckers Salads, the market also has Asian food, a fresh seafood stand, as well as Mexican and Middle Eastern cuisine.  

There's also fresh baked bread or pastries, seasonal fruit, hot soft pretzels, fresh dairy products, and a good cup of coffee.  Although many shoppers get their goodies to take home, there are two seating areas at the market.

The Newtown Farmers Market is open Thursdays from 9 am to 6pm; Fridays from 9 am to 7 pm; and Saturdays from 9am to 4 pm.
