Westy Hopkins, a Newtown native who plays lacrosse for Notre Dame, is on the cover of the February issue of Lacrosse Magazine.
Hopkins graduated from The Lawrenceville School in 2010.
According to local lacrosse coach Nino Scalamandre, Lacrosse Magazine is published monthly and is the definitive periodical on the sport. Every member of US Lacrosse receives it as result of enrolling in the program.
