Newtown Township Manager Resigns
Joe Czajkowski will leave in April, according to published reports.
The Newtown Township Supervisors will meet Wednesday at the municipal building to enact a 2011 budget.

Newtown Township Manager Joe Czajkowski has announced he will resign from his position come April 1.
According to a story published in the Newtown Advance, Czajkowski notified the supervisors about his decision Friday.
Czajkowski has accepted a job as township manager for Lower Salford Township in Montgomery County.

It was a great pleasure working with Joe. He kept an even keel during stormy times, and I will always be grateful for the immense dedication he had to his staff, and to so many important township projects such as the municipal complex, the skate park, and veterans parks. Newtown is a much better place as a result of his services to our community.
