A one-vehicle accident closed Durham Rd (Rt. 413) in Wrightstown Township during rush hour Tuesday.

According to Newtown Township Police Department, the road was closed between Pineville Rd and Windy Bush because of an accident near Fox Hil Drive.

A truck hit a utility pole and traveled about a 100 feet into the woods, police said. No injuries were reported.

The road closure caused traffic to back up in both directions, with travelers seeking alternate routes on Route 232 and Pine Lane.
