"All Newtown residents are urged to use extreme caution due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Sandy. Expect power outages, flooded or obstructed roadways and downed trees as well as wind damage. Make sure you keep all cellular devices charged, and ready any candles and/or flashlights you may have. Do not run any generator or fuel operated equipment indoors. If you live in flood prone areas, be prepared to evacuate. Do not go around any roadway barriers and do not approach any standing or moving water caused by flooding. A shelter has been established at Council Rock High School North, at 62 Swamp Rd, which also has a generator and shower facilities. The shelter is pet friendly. Stay tuned for more information."

As stated several times before that spammer is a perpetual problem and we are doing everything we can to block them. We've deleted dozens of usernames but they keep posting under different usernames. We've attempted to ban their IP address and that doesn't work either. The comments appear on the stream without my knowledge. I delete them when I see them but I'm not on the computer 24/7 so some slip through the cracks. I understand it's annoying but I'm doing the best I can to prevent the spam.

Any word as to why CR North is not animal friendly and if there's a closer alternative to Fairless Hills or Kitnersville? Those are longer drives than I'd like to take in a hurricane and I'm not leaving my pets behind.

Why is CR North Not pet friendly? All the shelters in Philly are and it's too dangerous to drive any distance to the next closest shelter. Can't leave the pooches at home. This is no help at all!
