Friday, January 11

At approximately 8:30 a.m., police received a report from the owner of a backhoe who said the window of his backhoe had been shattered over the weekend. The victim reported that the equipment had been left at a construction site at Durham Road and Second Street Pike in Wrightstown. The cost to repair the window was estimated at $2,500. 

Shortly after 8 p.m., police were dispatched to a home on Aster Way for a report of a burglary that occurred between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The investigation has been turned over to the Detective Bureau. 

Saturday, January 12

While on patrol in the area of Park Avenue and Durham Road in Wrightstown, an officer observed a motorist driving in an unsafe manner. The officer stopped the driver on Durham Road near Carousel Village around 1:45 a.m. At the stop, the driver, a 29-year-old Levittown man, was arrested on suspected DUI and was transported to Saint Mary Medical Center to have blood drawn. He was later released to a family member and charges are pending the blood test results.    

Sunday, January 13

Just after 1 a.m., police were dispatched to a home on Kirkwood Drive for a noise complaint. Responding officers made contact with the homeowner, who was hosting a party with 10 to 15 adults in attendance. Police advised the group of the complaint and asked them to reduce the noise level. A short time later, a second complaint was received. When officers returned to the location, one of the guests began to shout at the officers. He was advised that he will receive a citation in the mail charging him with disorderly conduct.
