Newtown Township Police are searching for a man who robbed a local jewelry store on three occasions in the past month.

Police on Saturday released a flyer with images of the suspect, who is described as a white male of average height. He appears muscular from video surveillance, police said.

According to police, the suspect burglarized the store three times since Sept 12.

Police declined to provide further information as the investigation is ongoing.

The same person is a suspect in several robberies in surrounding jurisdictions, including a Costco in Montgomery Township. In that case, he hid inside the store until after closing.

Anyone recognizing the person should contact Detective Jason Harris at 215-579-1000, ext. 229 or jasonh@twp.newtown.pa.us.

A jewelry store in Newtown was robbed 3 times in one month and this is the first it is in the news? Which store is it and who wrote that flyer?? "the rear of the shopping center possible south via Council Rock High School towards Swamp Road" Assuming it is Bernie Robbins based on escape route?
