Primo Hoagies Opens in Newtown
The deli is located in the spot that was previously Sarcone's Deli.
There's a new deli in town.
Primo Hoagies has opened on Eagle Road in the same shopping center as the Newtown Farmer's Market.
The deli, which serves hoagies, wraps, trays and more, is located in the spot previously occupied by Sarcone's Deli. The space has been fully renovated to repair damage from a fire in April.
Jim Hueber and Mike Rider are the owners. Hueber told Patch he's very excited to be in Newtown.
Primo Hoagies is a franchise with locations throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.

Great to have a new business in town as well as vacant store occupied - BUT - I wonder why one would open up something that Newtown already has enough of. Business will simply be taken from other similar stores, everybody will do less in an already less than stellar business environment. Oh well, that's what free enterprise is all about, thinking they can do better. Making other like businesses buckle up as well is a good thing. Regardless good luck Primo Hoagies

Primo's hoagies so much better than other chains in town and way better than Sarcone's. If you haven't had a Primo yet go give them a try. Great for party trays too. Best wishes Jim and Mike.

Primo's has the best hoagie in the world !
Started in South Philadelphia and now franchised. Like Bob says above if you haven't had one try it ! You will thank us later !

The Bread could be better but the Thumanns meats are the best, They need a primo size whole wheat roll,like Quisnos.I wish I could buy Thumans Meats by the Pound in grocery stores instead of that over priced GARBAGE they call Boars Head which is all you can buy some Local Markets.

You CAN buy our Thuman's meats by the pound in our store. Just come on in! Price is comparable to super market prices. You are not the first to request a whole wheat Primo roll. I know they are working on it.
