RNC: 'We're Going to Win Pennsylvania'

In advance of Sunday's rally in Bucks County, the Republican National Committee's Pennsylvania spokesman said Mitt Romney will win in the Keystone State.

Mitt Romney's campaign said Friday it was confident Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes will be in their column come Tuesday.

"We're going to win Pennsylvania," Billy Pitman, Pennsylvania communications director for the Republican National Committee, told Patch Friday. "The governor has believed that for a long time and we wouldn't be here if we didn't think we could win."

The former Massachusetts governor will bring his message to Shady Brook Farm on Sunday during a campaign rally. The rally starts at 5:30 p.m. and campaign officials expect thousands to turn out.

The most recent polling in Pennsylvania shows the race tightening but indicates President Barack Obama is maintaining the lead. A Franklin & Marshall poll that came out Wednesday put Obama up 49 to 45. A Rasmussen poll taken Oct. 24 shows Obama with a five-point lead.

As of Friday, the Real Clear Politics polling average had Obama leading Romney by 4.6 points in the Keystone State.

Democrats are calling Romney's move into Pennsylvania "desperate." Robert Gibbs, a top adviser to Obama, told CBS news that Romney's visit to the state "means the Romney-Ryan campaign is desperate to figure out how to win this race outside of the states that they’ve been contesting it in for 15 months."

It's Romney Day on the Patch - while nothing on the school board meeting.
Pushing political spin is not news.
"It's All In The Game" ... So be it.
For me there are just too many Mitts ... just one Obama.

Ed...I guess the president has the truth market cornered, huh? Like when he said the Benghazi attack was as a result of a video, even though they new it was a coordinated terrorist attack that very day. I guess we should just forget that? Or how he promised to reduce the national debt, yet has added more than any other president. We should overlook that lie too I guess? And as far as flip flopping goes...he was against gay marriage, but now is for it? That's OK, but Mitt changes his mind on abortion and he is a flip flopper? So when you change your views to a more liberal position its OK, but if you become more conservative, you are a flip flopper I guess? Interesting.

SPIN... Romney has lost ground everywhere he spent enough time for people to know him, the more he spends in Pennsylvania, the more likely Obama wins.....does anyone else find it enlightening that both Romney's home state and Romney's governor state are both going democrat...those who know him,, vote for Obama.
