Rothman Institute Opening in Newtown
The orthopaedic care specialists are opening on Eagle Road.
The Rothman Institute, which specializes in orthopaedic care, will open a Newtown location in 2013. Orthopaedics is a medical speciality that focuses on joint condition, spinal disorder or sports injury.
The office will be located at 2700 South Eagle Road, in a building that was formerly unoccupied.
"The Rothman Institute is internationally recognized for excellence in orthopaedic science and technology. Our physicians are experts in their specialty areas, leaders in clinical research and innovators in the development of advanced treatment methods and technologies," the Rothman Institute website says.
The Rothman Institute has several locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including in Bensalem, Philadelphia and West Chester.
According to its website, the Rothman Institute offers a range of services, including physical therapy, x-rays, nutrition and wellness counseling and orthotics.

Well there no shortage of Orthopedics in our area. Cautillis, Makefield Ortho, Mercer Buck Orthopedics, Trenton Orthopedics, Plus at least 2 solo orthopedists. BTW, for people to be aware, if you go to Rothman and need an operation- their surgeons do not operate at St Mary Medical Center, at least not yet. Always an important thing with any surgery; who and where. My mother in law had it at St Mary and she received great post op care and rehab, bilateral knees at same time. Brave woman.

I have traveled to Center city and King of Prussia to use Rothman, and was very happy with the results, I would recommend them, FYI -they are official doctors for Phillies.

I completely agree with Dr. Sitapara. By the way if you want excellent care where medical doctors have fantastic nonsurgical solutions to your orthopedic injuries. I recommend Performance Spine and Sports Medicine. This is what they're patients have said about them; over 100 reviews!!
