State Rep. Steve Santarsiero, D-Bucks, will hold a Veterans Appreciation Night at 7 p.m. Thursday at Makefield Elementary School, 1939 Makefield Road, Yardley.

Veterans can receive veteran ID cards and plug into seminars on employment and benefits at the free event. 

Among the Bucks County agencies attending will be the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Veterans Center, the Workforce Investment Board and CareerLink. Representatives from the VFW, American Legion, state Department of Education, Bucks County Community College and Lower Makefield Veterans Committee also will attend.
