I really think this should be private. The violations were presented to the owners and managers and that is their business.I am sure that every one who has a business of any kind does not need this bad publicity, yes it needs to be addressed and corrected but give the business time to correct it without being broadcasted through the town. If after the time allowed the violation is not fixed then I feel the public has the right to know.

Hi Joy, thanks for your input. Actually, all of the information in this article is available publicly already through the Bucks County Health Dept. website. http://bucks.pa.gegov.com/bucks/index.cfm

Hi Kara, I really do not feel the average person goes to Bucks County Health Dept website for casual reading, however with times tight right now for all businesses I still feel this article was not helpfull and unfair to post .If the establishment did not comply to the violations, then I feel the article could have been posted.I have nothing to do with any of these establishments I am not in the restaurant business. I just don,t feel this is positive press for these people.
Thank you

Info should be private? Positive press? Really? Maybe we all SHOULD be going to the DPH website for casual reading on a weekly basis. This article reminded me that such info is available and I will use it. You think that a restaurant that has only one person employed who is trained in ServSafe standards is deserving of positive press? That person can only work so many hours in a week. What happens when that person is not there? Personally I think that it should be a requirement that these reports be POSTED in the open view of customers at the entrance to the restaurants! Maybe business wouldn't be so "tight" for these folks if the provided better quality out of their kitchen. Unfair to post this? Wow! Imagine if someone were sickened....potentially fatally by food poisoning because of the improper temperatures and bacterial growth. A good friend of mine lost his brother to food poisoning....25 minutes after a meal....he became violently ill, never recovered and died. Do you think THAT family would have appreciated such PUBLIC information being disseminated? Really, I can't believe someone would stand up for those who are violating the laws that protect people from harm, rather than those who are potential victims of a failure to follow safe food preparation standards. Maybe we should also keep private those pesky hospital accreditation surveys too........... Kara, KEEP ON REPORTING.....
