Starbucks Introduces $1 Reusable Cups
The cups will be cleaned with boiling water at each refill and customers will get $0.10 off their coffee when they reuse.
Starbucks is introducing an affordable way for its customers to reduce waste.
The Huffington Post reported that starting today, it will offer $1 reusable cups. Customers who use the cups, which look like the standard paper cups with the Starbucks logo, will get a dime off their beverage.
The cups will be cleaned in boiling by Starbucks staff each time they are brought in for use.
According to its website, Starbucks has a goal to serve five percent of beverages in personal reusable tumblers by 2015.
