Stocking Works II Hearing Postponed Until April
The hearing scheduled for Tuesday in front of Newtown Borough Council will be continued.
Tuesday's conditional use hearing for the Stocking Works II proposal, now known as Steeple View, has been postponed, borough officials announced.
The hearing will be pushed off until April, however no date has been scheduled.
In an email, Developer Allan Smith said: "We are working very hard to refine our plan so that it can be the best it can be and in the course of having conversations with any number of people, we have gleaned ways in which to improve our efforts."

Newtown boro is beat , no good rest , shopping , super markets , its sad actually that they have the people who make the decisions all have some stake in it , the "boys club " needs to be broken up , and the residents who pay taxes deserve to have a say .

Also this town has nothing for the our youth. No rec.center , no where for teens to hang out, its pretty sad that starbbucks is the only place for kids to go and they charge you for internet ... All of the residents in Newtown Township and Newtown Boro really needs to to clean house in who is making decisions.. I am sure most people are aware of this woman cop in the Boro who needs to be stripped of her badge , she thinks she can talk to a us citizen like they are a criminal when pulled over for a minor traffic violation...
