An Armstrong Circle resident on Thursday reported that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle overnight and rifled through the interior. The victim told the reporting officer that nothing was removed from his car. 

Later that day, a second resident of Armstrong Circle called police to report that between the hours of 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 5:30 a.m. Thursday, someone entered her vehicle that was parked in her driveway and removed $80 in cash from her purse that was left in the car. 

The vehicle owner told police that she typically locks her vehicle, but thinks it may have been left unlocked since there were no signs of forced entry.
