The Council Rock School Board on Thursday approved contracts for two of the district's employee unions.

3. School Board Approves $201.8M Budget

After a lively public comment session, the Council Rock School Board on Thursday narrowly approved a $201.8 million budget for the 2012-2013 fiscal year.

2. Couple Arrested After Home Improvement Fraud Incident

Newtown Township Police arrested Arthur Gelembiuk and his wife Lisa Marie Gelembiuk for deceptive business practices that allegedly cost a Wrightstown couple $24,180.

1. Forsyth Sworn In as Township Fire Chief 

Newtown Township Police Department Lieutenant Glenn Forsyth was sworn in as the new township fire chief Thursday. Forsyth will be the first and only paid, full-time fire chief in Bucks County.
