Weekend Planner: Family Game Night and Free Theatre
A look at events happening this weekend in the area.
This will not look like a winter weekend, so take advantage of this unseasonably beautiful weather and get out and do something.
Where/when: Friday, 8 p.m., The Zen Den, Doylestown.
Why go: Folks can sing a song, tell jokes, recite poetry, play music or whatever else strikes their fancy. The only caveat – all material must be rated “E” for everyone.
Where/when: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 8 p.m., Mitchell Performing Arts Center, Huntingdon Valley.
Why go: Enchanted April is a “gentle” comedy based on four women’s lives in post-WWII London.
Where/when: All day Saturday, Neshaminy State Park, Bensalem.
Why go: Hundreds of people will jump in to the frigid Delaware River to benefit the Special Olympics. Come chill out – literally!
Cost: Donations gratefully accepted!
Where/when: Friday, 7 pm., Northampton Township Recreation Center, Richboro.
Why go: Your chance to prove just how awesome you are at TV game shows and win some utterly silly and ridiculous prizes.
