Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are a few options:
Where/when: Saturday from 8 to 1 p.m. at the Newtown Grant Rec Center parking lot
Why go: Looking for toys, books, electronics or home wares? The Newtown Grant Garage Sale is the place to find it. Hundreds of sellers convene at the parking lot at the Newtown Grant Rec Center parking lot. You can find pretty much anything and the price is right. Come early for best selection.
Where/when: Saturday at 9:30 a.m. beginning at the Newtown Library Company
Why go: This activity, loosely based on the popular television show, will send participants on a quest throughout town seeking clues. Proceeds benefit the library.

Where/when: Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Newtown Theatre
Why go: The“Let’s Get Digital…Digital” gala will help raise the $100,000 needed to convert the theatre’s projection system from film to digital. Enjoy food and wine while watching old newsreel clips and classic comedy shorts. Plus, there will be live music and a silent auction of movie posters, memorabilia and other items.

Where/when: Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Newtown Athletic Club
Why go: The event benefits the Bucks County Performing Arts Institute, a non-profit organization for the advancement of performing arts for the area’s youth.
Cost: Tickets are $20 and include the party, water, light refreshments and a raffle. Click here for more information.
Where/when: Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hortulus Farm
Why go: The event benefits the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering and expanding the local food supply. It will feature wine and light fare from local producers. There will be a talk on vegetable gardening as well as a self-guided tour of the grounds. Attendees can also view the owners’ collection of Bucks County impressionist paintings.

Oh, and there will be parking available (for $1) so that you don't have to worry about getting a ticket along Eagle Road or South Drive
