The winner of this week's Readers' Choice poll was, shall we say, a bit ambiguous. 

With the arrival of the spring season, we asked readers where the best place in town is to buy plants. The options were: Carousel Gardens, Kirshner's and Genuardi's. But 55 percent our readers preferred the "none of these" option.

Of the options listed, Carousel Gardens took the top slot. Carousel Gardens has a vast supply of healthy, vibrant plants. Plus, the name is no joke. If you take the kids, they can enjoy a ride on the on-site carousel.

A few comments pointed to the borough's Grapevine as having a good selection of plants. 

One reader said Grapevine has "amazing" plants. "The owner buys from local greenhouses and takes care of it all himself. And, for the quality you get, the prices are actually pretty competitive."
