Winter Storm Warning in Effect Through Saturday Morning
A winter storm is estimated to drop between four and eight inches of snow on the Bucks County region overnight.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning that is in effect through early Saturday morning.
Snow accumulation is expected to be between four and eight inches as a result of a large system that will bring blizzard conditions to New England.
The Bucks County region experienced rain and sleet throughout Friday. That precipitation is expected to turn to snow overnight, according to the Weather Channel forecast.
Residents could wake up to as much as eight inches of snow as a result of the storm.
That pales in comparison to the forecast for Boston and the northern portions of New England, where as much as 30 inches of snow is expected, according to the Weather Channel.
The snow will likely cease around noon Saturday, according to the local forecast. The weather for Sunday is expected to be sunny with highs in the upper 30s.
