 treet\, Newtown Fee: $36 *Pre-lecture dinner with Michael Medved (includ
 es lecture): Dinner 6:15pm $100\nMichael Medved is a nationally syndicat
 ed radio talk show host and best selling author. His daily show is heard
  by over 3.75 million people across the country. Born in Philadelphia\,
 Michael won admission to Yale at age 16 as a National Merit Scholar. He
 majored in American History and graduated with honors\, before attending
  Yale Law School\, where his classmates included Bill and Hillary Clinto
 n. Michael wrote his first bestseller at age 26 &mdash\; &ldquo\;What Re
 ally Happened to the Class of &lsquo\;65?&rdquo\; &mdash\; a skeptical r
 econsideration of the &ldquo\;counterculture&rdquo\; of the 1960&rsquo\;
 s that became a weekly TV series on NBC. Many American Jews distrust and
  even fear the rise of the evangelical Christianity. They see this relig
 ious movement as a threat to the survival of Judaism in the United State
 s and to the continuance of a society that values pluralism and religiou
 s liberty. On the other hand increasing numbers of American Jews view ev
 angelicals as natural allies\, not just when it comes to support of Isra
 el\, but on a range of social issues here in the U.S. In this provocativ
 e presentation\, Michael Medved will explain where Jews and Christians a
 lready agree\, and where they can never agree\, in their participation i
 n the ongoing battles shaping American society.\nClick here for more inf
