Paul Kurtz is a Philadelphia native who has been working as a reporter and anchor for KYW Newsradio since 1984. Kurtz was born and raised in Philadelphia. He attended Roxborough High School and Temple University, where he majored in journalism.

The Newtown Library Company, founded in 1760, has been providing the community with books and information for centuries. The current library is located in a historic brick building that dates back to 1912. It is home to a children's collection, fiction and nonfiction, reference books, historic collections and more. The Newtown Library Company also hosts children's storytimes, a poetry group and other events throughout the year.
