This fun camp combines thinking with hands-on science. Students create their own fictitious criminals, research aspects of crime scenes, and match evidence to solve mysteries. Participants will be introduced to fingerprinting, DNA hair and x-ray analysis, pH testing, footprints, skeletal remains, rock identification, microspray, blood analysis, white powder identification and more.
Plus a visit to Newtown Township's Police Station during the week! A materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Campers are requested to bring a snack and wear an old shirt. Safety goggles are provided by the teacher. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult partner.

The Government Offices of Newtown Township is a comprehensive local government campus. On Municiple Drive, residents can find several offices for the local government, including the office of Parks and Recreation, Emergency Response, Codes Department, Finance, Public Works, the Police Department and the administration office. This new consolidated facility is open to residents during the normal work week to meet the needs of the community.
