Newtown Historic Association presents “Historic Sites along the Delaware Estuary"

The November meeting of the Newtown Historic Association will be held on Monday, February 18th at 8:00 PM at the Half-Moon Inn, Court St. & Centre Ave., Newtown.

The Newtown Historic Association has invited Chris Blaydon, Mayor of Langhorne and past President of the Historic Langhorne Association who will speak on Historic Sites along the Delaware Estuary.  Mr. Blaydon has been sailing the Delaware Estuary for over 35 years and has been photographing historic sites from Trenton all the way to Cape Henlopen.  He will speak of some historic sites in the Delaware Estuary dating from the Civil War period and earlier that can been seen from a ship sailing down the Delaware.

The public is invited and refreshments will be served.  This will prove to be a very interesting and informative meeting.  For further information call 215-968-3914 or visit the NHA Website www.newtownhistoric.org.
