Music and Movement Boogie Woogie Ages 4-7

Exploring the relationship between music and movement through various activities, using the outdoors for room to move, children will be challenged to listen carefully to rhythm and volume as well as lyrics in engaging games. The music will include old favorites and originals with an acoustic guitar. The classes always end with a jam session!

Mommy/Daddy and Me! Ages 2-6

Together with a grown up buddy explore music with dancing games and fun outdoor (weather permitting) activities! We explore volume, tempo and most of all we have fun! Grown ups will recognize some tunes from familiar artists like the Beatles and Bob Marley, mixed in with favorite children’s songs and many original songs and games. We’ll also enjoy musical story time and a jam session as part of the fun!

Paint to the Music! Ages 4-6

We learn new songs and styles of music and then explore the way it influences our projects. A combination of live music and recorded music as well as painting and drawing. It will be an active way to learn about new styles of music and be involved in creating music as well as a different works of art. The classes always end with a jam session!

Tyler State Park, located off the Newtown Bypass, is a 1,700-acre property. The park features trails for both walking, biking and horseback riding, as well as playgrounds, picnic areas, and canoe rentals. The park's disc golf course attracts players from throughout the region. Visitors also enjoy fishing and pavilions available for private rental.
