On November 1, SCORE Bucks County will host a roundtable discussion for women in business on how small business owners can use social media marketing to promote their business.
The discussion promises to be a lively one. The opening address will be by Wendi Caplan-Carroll presenting the key findings outlined in the best-selling book, “Engagement Marketing,” by Constant Contact founder Gail Goodman.
Also featured as a speaker will be Catherine Cook, founder of MyYearbook.com, one of the 25 most-trafficked websites in the U.S. A resident of New Hope, Catherine has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as a Top 30 Entrepeneur under age 30.
Joining the panel will be Natalie Wi founder of Allure Studio West, Robin Coppinger of the Bucks County Women’s Journal and Brian Marella from Patch.com who will speak on how to integrate modern marketing methods with traditional ones like print.
The program includes presentations by speakers, a panel discussion, Q&A from attendees followed by a networking lunch to meet and greet the panelists.
Pre-registration is recommended at www.scorebuckscounty.org, a $20 fee includes lunch at Cock ’n Bull Restaurant. Walk-ins are welcome with a $30 fee at the door.
