Double Feature Movie Night, George School Theater

Here's a look at what's going on in Newtown on Friday, Nov. 8: 

• It’s a double feature movie night at the Wrightstown Village Library, 727 Penns Park Rd. “Monsters University” will be screened at 6 p.m. followed by “The Internship.” The event is free and refreshments will be available for purchase. 
• George School will present "Goodnight Desdemona, Good Morning Juliet" starting at 8 p.m. in Walton Center Auditorium at George School, 1690 Newtown Langhorne Road. The performance is free to the public to attend.
• Do you have any gently-used or new teddy bears that you'd like to donate? Council Rock School District, Northampton Police Department and the Greater Newtown Exchange Club are working together to collect and distribute stuffed “Wee Care” Bears to comfort children in trauma situations.
