Wear Your Costume to Story Time, 'Twelfth Night' Auditions

A look at the day ahead in Newtown.

Here's a look at what's happening in Newtown on Monday, Oct. 28:

  • Newtown Arts Company will hold auditions for its upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Crossing Community Church. Click here for details.
  • There's an evening story time, Not-So-Spooky Tales, at the Yardley-Makefield Library from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Children ages 2 to 6 can wear their costumes and enjoy stories and songs. No registration is required. Click here for details.
  • It's Monday, which means Monday Night Football is on. The Sycamore Grill has $2 beers (Coors bottles, Miller and Yuengling drafts) and $5 wing appetizers. This week's game is between the Seahawks and the Rams. 
  • Newtown Township's Environmental Advisory Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at the township building, 100 Municipal Dr.
