Hatboro Federal Receives Leadership Laurel Award from Bucks Beautiful

Hatboro Federal Savings (www.hatborofed.com) received the prestigious leadership Laurel Award from Bucks Beautiful at its gala fundraising Spring Fling at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown, PA, on April 11, 2014.

Hatboro Federal Senior Vice President Constance T. Wood accepted the award designed to recognize the bank for a $5000 donation to the non-profit organization's Bulbs for Bucks beautification program. "We are very pleased to accept the award and honor from this distinguished group. Hatboro Federal's mission has been, and continues to be, to support organizations such as Bucks Beautiful as they work to improve, strengthen and beautify our communities," notes Wood.

The Spring Fling drew supporters for an evening of dining, dancing, raffles and a silent auction. "We gathered to celebrate Bulbs for Bucks success in raising sufficient funds to plant a million daffodil bulbs over the past five years. This coming fall we will plant the millionth bulb and continue our mission to enhance the county's landscape," says Bucks Beautiful Executive Director Dawn D. Byers. "We also planned this celebration to recognize the generosity of our dedicated members and donors who have given not only financial support, but also countless hours of hard work to help us achieve our dream."
