Hatboro Holiday Parade Has New Theme Name

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce executive directors and Tim Shultz, parade chairman, are pleased to announce that Upper Moreland resident Vicki Eisele submitted the winning contest entry for the 53rd annual Hatboro Holiday Parade. "Candy Cane Cavalcade" will be this year's parade theme.

Hatboro Chief of Police James Gardner announced the winner and theme name at Hatboro's National Night Out on Friday, August 9. "Candy Cane Cavalcade" was one of more than 80 submissions from surrounding communities. Eisele will receive a movie gift basket with Regal Cinema movie tickets and a movie gift card for snacks. She will also ride in the holiday parade with the grand marshal.

This year's parade will be held on Sunday, November 24, beginning at 2 p.m., rain or shine. The parade route starts at York Road and Summit Avenue. The chamber is now accepting parade participant applications.
