What's Open on Columbus Day in Newtown?
Today is Columbus Day and several places around town will be closed in observance of the holiday.
Today is Columbus Day, which means many offices and government agencies will be closed. Council Rock Schools are open today, as is Bucks County Community College. However, here's the list of what is closed on Columbus Day:
- There is no mail delivery and all U.S post offices are closed
- Newtown Borough and Township Municipal Offices
- Some Bucks County libraries are closed. Click here to find out which ones.
- Most banks are closed, including Sovereign, PNC, First National Bank of Newtown. TD Bank is open.
- Federal Offices
- State Offices
- PennDOT License Centers
