Dognappers Take Upper Makefield Pet, Family Seeks Clues

A couple allegedly stole an Upper Makefield family's dog on Sunday.

A local family is seeking a couple who allegedly took their dog from their Upper Makefield yard Sunday afternoon. A $500 reward is being offered for the dog’s safe return, said owner Nancy Kovacevich.

Kovacevich said witnesses saw a man, described as lean and about six-feet tall, and a woman with long hair take the dog from their front yard, which is near Sol Feinstone Elementary School. The couple put the dog in the back of their car.

The dog, named Razzie, is a fluffy, white cavachon who weighs 30 pounds. A cavachon is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Bichon Frise.
