Get Out Weekend Planner

Celtic fiddles, garden shows, and a pet party.

We hear it might be rainy at the end of the weekend. While we hope that’s not true, we managed to find some indoor events and classes that will get you out of the house, but still keep you dry. 

BOATING FOR BEGINNERS 

Where/When: Middletown Township Municipal Offices (3 Municipal Way, Langhorne) Saturday 9am - 5pm.

Why Go: If you plan on taking your boat for a spin at the shore this summer, you need to attend this class. After this 8 hour course, you’ll be legally certified to boat in all states.

Where/When:, Friday from 5 pm - 8pm and all day Saturday and Sunday

Why Go: The displays apparently rival the Philadelphia Flower Show, so it’s probably worth the drive.

Why Go: They’ve been called “the Allman Brothers of Celtic fiddle bands.” What more do you need to know?

LIBRARY POETRY GROUP 

Where/When: , Friday at  8pm

Why Go: Have something to read? Or just want to dish about your favorites? Come hither. 

Pricing: Free. Direction and information here.

 

Where/When: , Sunday at noon

Why Go: Bring your canine for games, doggy ice cream, and a splash in the pool. Seriously.
