Girl Scouts Seek Donations for Pet Shelter

The members of Girl Scout troop 2025 are seeking donations of food and other items for the Women's Human Society Animal Shelter as part of their Bronze Award service project.

A local girl scout troop is organizing an effort to help homeless pets at the Women's Human Society Animal Shelter in Bensalem.

The members of Girl Scout troop 2025 are seeking donations of food and other items for the shelter as part of their Bronze Award service project.

The girl scouts are collecting unopened bags and cans of dog and cat food, treats, cat clay litter, low odor pine chips or Yesterday's News bedding, single bottles of bleach, canine seat belts and no-pull harnesses.

Collection boxes are set up at McCaffrey's in Newtown and at the Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital in Langhorne. As of April 1, there will also be a collection box at Goodnoe Elementary School.
