It's Fall at the Farmers Market

The Wrightstown Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday until November 17.

Tomato season may be over, but there will still be plenty of fresh veggies available at this weekend's Wrightstown Farmers Market. Local farmers are expected to be selling apples, beets, broccili, leeks and much more.

Market manager Robin Hoy provided the following summary of what will be offered at Saturday's market:

"We'll have freshly picked apples, leeks, broccoli, cabbages, celery root, beets, turnips, lettuce, chard, collards, kale, mizuna, raddichio, radishes, parsley, winter squash galore and freshly pressed apple cider.  If we're lucky, sweet corn, sweet and hot peppers and eggplant will have survived the frost, and there could be bok choy, carrots and cauliflower.  We'll also have potatoes, garlic and onions."

Hoy continued:

"We'll have fresh, hormone and antibiotic-free, pasture-raised chicken for two more weeks, eggs, mozzarella and goat cheeses, smoothies, yogurt, milk, pasture-raised pork and 100% grass-fed beef.  Prepared foods available are: sauces, fruit butters, apple juice, gluten free and vegan products, breads and baked goods.  All natural dog food; fair trade, organic, locally roasted coffee; and handmade soaps, lotions and jewelry are added features."

Local musicians Natali and Sarina will be playing pop tunes for shoppers.

The Wrightstown market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday until November 17 at the Wrightstown Township municipal parking lot, 2203 Second Street Pike (Rt. 232).

The market is sponsored by the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance. For more information, visit www.BucksCountyFoodshedAlliance.org.

It was, frankly, a wreck. It looked, as one disgruntled http://www.coachoutletaol.org tourist observed, as if it had been destroyed in enemy action. Well, http://www.coachfactoryonlineest.net of course it looked like that. It had been devastated by a violent http://www.coachfactoryoutletpst.com volcanic eruption. It wasn't until the houses began to be rebuilt http://www.coachfactoryoutlettx.com and reroofed around 1900 that Pompeii became something like the http://www.coachfactoryonlinefc.org ancient city we now visit - until, that is, the http://www.coachoutletwy.com site was heavily bombarded by the Allies in World http://www.coachoutletonlineybw.com War II (in what really was enemy action.
