Jules Collecting Leftover Halloween Candy for the Troops

The candy will be given to Operation Gratitude, a nonprofit organization that sends care packages to the troops.

The weather this year did not cooperate for trick or treaters.

Because of that, you may be left with loads of extra candy. For the sake of your teeth and your waistline, you may want to get the sweets out of the house.

Jules Thin Crust is organizing an effort that will allow residents to donate extra candy to a good cause.

The local pizza shop is collecting candy for Operation Gratitude, a nonprofit organization that sends care packages to the troops overseas.

Last year, Jules collected 4,000 pounds of Halloween candy. They're looking to top that amount this year.
