Newtown Residents Asked to Conserve Water

Newtown Artesian Water is asking its customers to conserve water until Monday, July 7.

Newtown Artesian Water has lost about 50 percent of its supply due to a problem with a pipeline of a major supplier, it explained on its website.

"We ask that you conserve water and refrain from the use of unnecessary water such as lawn watering, car washing and the filling of swimming pools until a least Monday, July 7," an announcement on Newtown Artesian Water company's website said.
