MONDAY, Oct. 8

TUESDAY, Oct. 9

  • Newtown Borough Council meets at the Chancellor Center at 7 p.m. 

WEDNESDAY, Oct. 10

  • Newtown Township Supervisors meet at the Township Administration Building at 7:30 p.m.
  • Newtown Business Association's Business Card Exchange will be held at 5 p.m. at Third Federal Bank. The cost to attend is $15. Refreshments will be served. Register at www.NewtownBA.org. Click here for details.
  • Newtown Borough's Traffic Management Committee meets at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall.

THURSDAY, Oct. 11

  • Newtown Borough's Recreation Board meets at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall.

FRIDAY, Oct. 12

  • There's an Art Show at Countryside Frames and Radhouse Studios. Artists Michael Buszko and Esther Sternberg will be showing their works from 7 to 10 p.m. The event is free.

SATURDAY, Oct. 13

  • The Newtown Library Company is holding its annual 5K beginning at 8:30 a.m. Click here for details.
  • There's a free shredding day at Bucks County Community College from 9 a.m. 11 a.m. Personal documents only; four boxes per vehicle. The event is sponsored by The First National Bank. Click here for details.
  • Local children's author KC Wilder will be at the Newtown Bookshop for story hour from 11 a.m. to noon. Click here for details.
