Viewfinder: Summer Sports
This week, Newtown Patch visited local parks and ball fields to find out what people like to do on these warm (almost) summer nights.
The past few days have been extremely hot, but thankfully we've been enjoying warm summer-like evenings. Since it doesn't get dark until 8:30 pm or so, there's the opportunity for evening recreation. Residents have been lucky to go for a long bike ride, enjoy a full lacrosse game, or get a whole softball game in. This week Patch went to some local evening sporting activities. Check out what we saw around town.
